Her birth record names her simply Margaret, which makes her the second Margaret in this family. Her birth record also notes that the parents had 1 girl who has already died, who must be the first Margaret born in 1843. This Janett Margaret's name is the source of much confusion because her marriage record and tombstone clearly have her as Jeanette or Janett M. This name confusion matches the pattern of her sister Mary Jane. But her birthdate on the tombstone matches perfectly with the Scottish birth record and everything else pieces together perfectly, so I am sure it is the same person.

In the 1880 census, she and her husband David Miller are living with her brother James in English River Twp. of Keokuk Co.
