How much of a friend you've been to me, you will never know.

When my blue skies turned to gray, you somehow made them glow.

When I think of all the times, both good and bad that I've been through,

I try to think of how I made it, and then i think of you.

You have been there for me from the start, and you have never let me down.

When I was feeling sad and blue, you wiped away my frown.

Youve been the one that I have called and cried to about my fears

You never turned away from me. You wiped away my tears.

You told me it was for the better. And it would be ok.

You never told me any lies. You never lead me astray.

I could've never made it through all of this without you by my side.

You have been my light and showed me the way, you have been my guide.

You never have to look too far, to find someone in which to confide.

Because Ill always be here for you, close by your side.

You may not see me standing there, but I promise I'm not far.

And even though miles might separate us, well be close at heart.

I don't know when that day might come. But I promise Ill still be here.

Waiting, listening, and caring, ready to lend an ear.

There aren't enough stars in the skies or fish in the deep blue sea,

That could make you know and understand what our friendship means to me.

I cant imagine living a day, without you as my friend.
