WHEN I SAY GOODBYE

I try and try at nite

to tell myself things

that ease my mind

and I tell myself

that everything will be alright

but ya know its hard to say

its so hard to tell

where we're going from here

I only hope that one day

our paths will cross again

and it gets scary at times

just knowing you won't be around

but I've got the memory

to keep me going

and i've got it there to

ease my troubled mind

I know it's not goodbye forever

it's just for a little while

I'll just wipe away the tears

when the sad day comes

and underneath the

tear stained face...

you'll find a little smile.

There's been so many memories,

I'd hate to see you leave

But I know I can't make it stop..

that's just how it's got to be

and in the end everything will be just fine

because even if I'm not in your heart

I'll have you here in mine.
