FAQ's

Question:  What is the attire for each event?

Answer:  Nice Caribbean casual.... What does that mean.... Think Tommy Bahama. 

Question: What will the weather be like in Key West in February

Answer: Uh.... Since the weatherman can't get the forecast right I am not going to even try, however the range for that time of year is a min of 66 degrees to 76 degrees.  A hell of a lot better than Indiana or Colorado that time of the year.  Leave your snow shovels and long underwear at home

Question:  Key West sounds like a boring place what is there to do there

Answer:  You must be hard to satisfy (you must be a Flittner)  This is great place to visit the beaches or hit the bars and is one of the most storied historic locations in all of Florida.  

Question:  I was talking to somebody about the Southern Most House and rumor has it that it is haunted, is that true?

Answer:  We have heard the same rumors and asked some of the staff at the house.  They did confirm that people believe it to haunted and also mentioned that somebody just saw the ghost, however they are not invited to the wedding

Question:  Why Key West?  Why the Southern Most House?

Answer:  We wanted everyone on vacation so that they could really relax and have a great time. When we were thinking of locations we both thought that Key West embodied the spirit of Florida and fun.  When we visited Key West and saw the Southern Most House we knew it was the place we wanted to get married.  Set against an 19th century Victorian house nestled against the ocean in the Keys we knew this was the place for us.  We also wanted a place we could take over and not be hindered by other guest and vacationers.  It is an intimate enough local that we can kick back and relax and large enough to house are raucous families.
