"An indenture made 18 March 1815 between Jacob Deforest of the City of Schenectady and Mary his wife, and Frederick Groveberry of the same place in consideration of $210.
All that certain lot... being in the southwest part of the compact part of the city od Schenectady inthe second ward of said City bounded as follows: Easterly by lane called Slater's Lane or Vrooman's Road, Southerly by lot of Robert Slaters, westerly by the new street laid out to lead from the compact part of the city across the flats, and northerly by a lot of the said Jacob Deforest, being 36 ft. 6 inches in front on the said New Street, 91 ft. 7 inches deep from front to rear, and 10 ft. in rear on the said lane or Vrooman's Rd."

"An indenture made 15 July 1831 between Frederick Grovenbery of the Village of Brockport and Mary his wife, and Jacob Cary of the Town of Chili in consideration of $850.
Beginning at a stake standing on the SW corner of my lot twelve feet from said corner and running south 66 degrees east, 17 feet from the N side of the Canal 36 ft. to a stake thence northerly at right angles 36 ft. to the place of beginning.
The described premises are the same as conveyed by Chase Baker and wife to Frederick Grovenbery on the 8th day of Dec. 1828." (Frederick is the grantor.)

Land - 8-10-1831; Book 172, #310;
"An indenture made 10 Aug 1831 between John Bynn of the Town of Sweden and Mary Ann his wife, and Frederick Grovenburg of the same place in consideration of $50.
That certain piece of land in the Village of Brockport... Beginning on the north line of the Village lot No. 23 at a stake at the NW corner of said lot on the east line of Main Street running thence south 77 degrees and 45' east 1 chain, thence south 12 degrees & 15' west and parallel with Main St. 1 chain, thence westardly and parallel with the north and first mentioned line, 1 chain to Main St., thence north 12 degrees & 15' east along said street 1 chain to the place of beginning containing 16 rods of land, being a part of the lot conveyed by Patrick Rogers to the said John Bynn by deed bearing the date the 21st day of october 1830." (Frederick Grovenburg is the grantee.)
