Area
of operation
The area
has mixed population, which includes backward castes, Sheduled castes
and Sheduled tribes. Total population of the Tehsil is 22222 where poor
and deprived communities are in majority. Mainly, here, the Bheel, Meena,
Rawal, Gujjar, Regar, Bhambhi, Balai and other shedule castes and tribes
are dwelling from generations. Their social, economical and educational
status of very deplorable. Average rainfall in the area is very low
and is continually inflicted with draught and famine as other parts
of Rajasthan. Because of this economic status of local rural communities
is severe and have to migrate for their livelihood. Majority of the
population can not even manage to get a square meal. Social development
in the area has been barred due to administrative and insensibility.
Therefore, during draught and famine villagers have to depend for their
health care and other emergency needs on greedy moneylenders. Caste
and gender based social discrimination inhumane ill treatment is common
phenomena. Women exposed to exploitation at various stages.
The
area needs intensive integrated development to uplift the population.
