Flood Waters

I took these pictures on 24th June 1998, in my town when the Namoi and Mooki Rivers flooded.

NOTE: We experienced more serious flooding just after this flood, with the peak in town on July 22nd. The waters got further into town this time, and all roads going out of town but one were closed. The waters got about a block away from my house. It was such excitement for our little town - with helicopters flying around and landing near the school, we were all quite enthralled!
