"The Wedding" Here's black and white picture of me and my wife, Syamsiah,
taken at our wedding ceromony at Watan Soppeng, South Sulawesi,
on A Sunday Evening of December 20th, 1969.

My wife Syamsiah
Djohansyah was born in Watan Soppeng on
August 4th, 1948. She is the third daughter of Djohansjah
and Siti Aisyah.

"Rane" One year after
our wedding, our first child was born. We named him La
Rane Hafied Gany. He was born on October 9th, 1970
in Metro. a small city in Central Lampung, on the southern
part of Sumatera Island. He is married to Fenny Krisnawati
and now working as a journalist for Radio Singapore International,
Indonesian Section. [send

"Tari" Two years later, Batari Uleng HafiedGany, our second child was born. Tari,
-that's how we call her-, was also born in Metro, on January,
25th, 1972. She's now a lecturer at Asyafiiyah University,
Jakarta, and also a branch manager of IEC, a quite well
known English Course in Indonesia. She has just married
in Bandung, West Java to Dani Kuspermana on the 29th of

"Allan" And to complete our small happy family, our last child
was born on August 20, 1977. Allan was born on the month holy
of Ramadhan in 1977. That's why we named him Allan
Ramadhan Hafied Gany. He is now studying law at
Padjajaran University, Bandung, West Jawa. [send mail to Allan]
...and now I'm not just a husband to a lovely wife,
and a father to three grown up children. I'm now also a
father in law of two children and a grandfather to a cute
little baby girl, Naila...!
"Fenny" Fenny Krisnawati, born in Jakarta
on December 23rd, 1975. Graduated as top student from
IKIP, majoring in Indonesian Language and Literature.
