I really enjoyed my visit in the Front Royal/Winchester VA area.  I stayed almost a week and met a lot of generous and happy people.  Special thanks to Julie, Eddie, Dan, Colleen, and Otie for their time and attention.  I will plan to stop again on my return.

Moved my "roadshow" to Charlottesville where I remained another five or six days.  A very pleasant, youthful, and open hearted town is C-ville.  I spent some days at the UVA library where I revived my slowly shrinking writing effort.  Got a chance to do just a little career counselling (fun, when you don't do it every day), and had a good shower available daily at the KOA campground in near Scottsville.  Regards and special thanks to Barbara, Tim and Pam, Randi, Phyllis, Dan, and all the others who made my stay so much fun.

I got so deeply into writing in Charlottesville, I took very few pics.  Here's a couple.  I did take a bunch on my way down to Ashville, NC where I now reside as of last night.  I came down the Blue Ridge Parkway which turns out to be an even more dramatic version of the Skyline Drive and goes on for about 500 miles!!!
Sunset in C-Ville.  Very beautiful, but it always seemed to get cold right about then.
New Friend, Tim Harrington.  Pam was out shopping.  Frankly, "Walty", their baby, is cuter than all three of us.  Wish I had a picture of him to show you.
Morning fog and smokestacks from the Blue Ridge Parkway.
