Testimonial:
“I just recently left my full time job to be a stay-at-home mom and I found this group on the yahoo site. All the moms are great and I have made many terrific friends since I joined the group. Even the dads are getting together and forming friendships.”

Our History
The Hanover Mothers' Center grew out of the needs and interests of a small handful of women. We first met in November of 1991 and shared mutual need for support, information, education, and sometimes simply adult conversation. With the help of NAMC, the York Mothers' Center and the YWCA of Hanover, we got our start.

Our Principles
The Hanover Mothers' Center is an organization for women by women. It is a place to go to make friends, deal with isolation, build self-esteem, learn, listen, and be heard. Here, women care about women. They adapt a non-judgmental attitude in a non-judgmental atmosphere.

The Hanover Mothers' Center gives validation to motherhood as a lifelong profession, believes that every woman is a resource of talents and skills, and believes in social advocacy for our community.
