of all levels who wish to:

of the fundamental nature, technologies and
concepts of Kundalini Yoga.

What
is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is a technical system, thousands
of years old, for nurturing that seed of happiness.
Each person can tap into his or her own potential
to grow, to learn, to develop the inner strength
to face life's challenges successfully. This sacred
yogic discipline promotes physical health, stimulates
the potential of the mind, and touches one's innermost
being.
What is 3HO?
For over 30 years, 3HO
Foundation, an international, non-profit organization,
has been the custodian of the practice of Kundalini
Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini
Yoga. It is dedicated to the excel-lence of the
individual and serves people through the teachings,
technology and lifestyle of Kundalini Yoga.
The Course
will include . . .
- How to use postures (asanas),
meditation, exercises (kriyas), sound (mantra)
and breath (pranayam) to awaken your mind
and train your body.
- How to deal with stress,
the yogic approach to healing and relaxation
techniques through the study of Humanology
& the 3HO yogic lifestyle
- Yogic psychology, history
and philosophy
- The chakra system and energetic
approach to the body
- Introduction to healing foods,
herbs, and food preparation
- Yogic & western anatomy
- Specialized techniques for
teaching yoga for children, pre- and post-natal
and seniors
- How to develop a meditative
mind for clarity and calmness
- Code of Ethics
- Use of the ancient techniques
of mantra and sound
- How to design and develop
your own personal yoga practice (sadhana)
Obtain credentials
and develop your self-confidence for teaching

To successfully
complete the course, students are expected to:
- Attend all classes (max.
1 class missed for exceptional circumstances)
- Attend a minimum of 10 Kundalini
Yoga classes during the course outside of
class time
- Complete daily meditation
practices as assigned
- Complete regular homework
assignments
- Completion of 15 sadhanas
(early morning yoga practice, including 5
group sadhanas) …
And for Teacher
Certification:
- Satisfactory performance
in two(2) supervised public classes at Spirit
Rising Yoga Centre or equivalent venue
- Passing grade (70%)on the
written final exam
- Acceptable representation
of the Kundalini Yoga Code of Professional
Standards
Please
note that this course
is an intense, transformative experience. Attendance
at all classes is mandatory as curriculum and
schedule devote a substantial amount of time and
focus to meditation, essays and reading assign-ments.
Be prepared to allot your time accordingly.

have taught Kundalini Yoga to thousands of students.
The 3HO International Kundalini Yoga Teachers
Association works with other yoga organizations
to develop standards for yoga teachers and provides
support for members' professional growth.
Yogi Bhajan, master of Kundalini
Yoga, came to the West in 1968. Since then he
has freely shared the teachings of this sacred
science with all who wished to transform themselves
and help others. He has dedicated his life to
bring meaning, dignity and spirit into the lives
of people everywhere. He has often said that his
mission is not to collect students but to train
teachers.

Fees
The cost for the course is $2100 (plus
$133 GST). This includes:
- Course fees for all instruction,
manuals, books and materials.
- White Tantric Yoga Course and
Sat Nam Rasayan workshop.
- A one-year Associate Membership
to IKYTA (US$30)which includes the IKYTA newsletter
and discounts for products and Workshops.
- A discount of 10% of the Instruction
Fees is available to full-time students and
seniors
Payment Schedule
- A payment of $500 + $133 GST
to be paid by the first class.
- The balance of $1050 to be
paid by January 25, 2001, paid by post-dated
cheque or post-dated credit card authorization
on the first day of class
