Face Reading

The face is an indicator of one's character. In the Western world it is called physiognomy while in China it is known as xiang mian (siang mien) and kan xiang.

Face reading is relatively easy. When you are reading someone's face, make sure the person is standing in a brightly natural lit area with ample light shinning on his or her face. When reading your subject's face, talk to him or her about the various things you see in his or her face. Don't try to read your own face if you happen to be a beginner to face reading, you tend to be more biased and may refuse to accept what you see.

Also, be organised when reading someone's face. Start with the forehead and start your way down to the lips or start with the lips and go all the way up to the forehead. Always try to be objective and never let your personal opinions interfere if you are face reading for a friend.
