About Us

There are currently 32 members of Ichud Hatzolah -Tel Zion, which includes 3 doctors and 2 paramedics. The leaders of our branch are R' Avraham Zarug who has been involved in Magen David Adom in Jerusalem for over 26 years! He has been awarded many citations for his work through out his career, and his knowledge of cases is invuable for the newer members. The other leader is R' Eliezer Haiman who is part of the steering commitee of Ichud Hatzolah, and has 25 branches under his leadership and over 150 volunteers.

We also are proud to have in our group R' Moshe Trichter and R' Yaakov Edri, both of whom have had many many years of experience. They also provide the group with hands-on training. The bulk of the group is made up of eager volunteers who are young and energetic.

Once a month we all get together to recap cases that we had, and discuss what we did and what we can do better. Also we hear about other cases, and can gauge our reaction to the ones that actually took place. These evenings help all the volunteers to better understand one another, and how to best interact.
