Warrensburg School House
The Warrensburg Road Schoolhouse located off of Ostrander Road, has been abandoned for several decades, supposedly after a young was killed by being pushed down the stairs. I have been unable to verify the s' name or the family she came from, and there appears to be no record of the event.
If you are interested in visiting the old Warrensburg School House, take 257 north past 36, and turn left onto Ostrander Road. The turn is directly across from the Warrensburg bridge. Te only church in Warrensburg (Methodist) sits on the corner. The school is about a mile up the road on the right. |
Some local residents told me that at night you can hear a piano playing, the sound of a basketball in the gym and a typewriter in the main office. Currently, the scholl seems to function as a storage facility.
Sightings include a woman in a white dress on the lawn of the school, presumably the deceases mother.
