Controlling government

I was getting really confused. Since I have been on the Internet, I have read hundreds of articles by who knows how many different writers in different publications.

Also, there are web sites that focus on certain problems and seem to have large, supportive reading audiences. As an example, there is Scan This News which has as a focus social security numbers and the national ID the Republican Party has pushed through along with other related topics.

Then, there is Inform America, The Center for Citizens Rights, Perfect Tax Avoidance for Citizens, Tax-Freedom.com and others which deal with the fact we have been duped by the federal government into paying taxes on our personal household incomes and volunteering for the social security system.

Other sites give factual information about the Bill of Rights, Supreme Court rulings, the Constitution of the United States of America, the social security system, and give information which tells the American public the full authority of the federal government.

In other words, if you want facts, there are dozens of sites on the Internet from which you can obtain all the facts you need and/or want along with the supportive evidence. The people running these sites work hard to give the American people the truth but, in reality, very little is actually accomplished against the government’s unconstitutional activities.

Don't get me wrong. There are set-backs concerning the government’s plans but, still, the federal government does what it wants whether it is Constitutional or not.

The reason I am confused is why everyone simply doesn’t get together and force the government to do only as permitted in the Constitution. Why the do people keep allowing the government to continue to do as it does without deep-felt regard for the citizens of this nation?

Let us not forget the federal government was created in order to provide for the common defense of the individual States. Its obligation is to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, which means its obligation is to protect the rights, the liberties, of the citizens of the fifty States. The federal government’s job is NOT to remove liberties or rights or to change the Constitution to whatever they want.

The solution is simple. Get rid of any person in Congress who votes in favor of special interest groups while failing to meet their obligations to their constituency. Get rid of any who give information contrary to the Constitution.

Enough public outcry will cause a politician's respective party to force his resignation, just as it did with Gingrich. Or, as an aid to establishing boundaries of behavior for those in Congress, demand the impeachment of a few who have lied to the public and/or misrepresented themselves.

Demand integrity, morality, and the truth from legislators and other government officials. They may live outside of the States (yes, the District of Columbia is not part of any state and is an entity in and of itself called the “United States”. Check the Constitution if you don’t believe this statement.) but they retain citizenship in their various states which makes them subject to the same laws as the rest of us.

My gosh, all it takes is all of us. It is our country and the only way we are going to get it back is with great effort and willingness to sacrifice. We simply do not have to take the crap and false information doled out by the government.

So, how about doing our duty - preserve and protect our Constitution against "...enemies both foreign and domestic"? Congress is failing in its duties to do so and, thus, each is violating his oath of office. If not treasonous, it is certainly acting as an enemy of the Constitution and the people of the 50 States. Thus, we must rid ourselves of those who do not defend the Constitution as written.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is up to us. We must legally do what we can, which is to meet Constitutional requirements and vote out of office (or the above forcing out of transgressors) every *sucker* who has been part of stealing our liberties.

If we act as a unified whole, the federal government can do very little except respond as we wish. It does not have any recourse other than relying on ignorance of the public, fear, and intimidation as long as we act in defense of the Constitution and our union and within established Constitutional laws.

How grand it would be to have a government that is, in deed and fact, "of the people, by the people, and for the people".

*suckers* - Just as an added note, if it hadn’t been for the language used by our so-called elite in government, I would never have used a term such as ‘sucker’ in an article. But they taught me it is okay by their use of gutter language and descriptive phrasing on news shows and quotes in print during Oralgate.

If it can affect me, think of what their immorality, lack of integrity, and use of less-than-professional language does to your children.
