Here are some questions to determined your average
Fitness/Health status; you might want to give it a try. Answer them as
honestly as possible. Tick the answer 'Yes' or 'No' closest to your current
status.
1. Do you run out of breathe climbing up 3 flights of stairs to the 3rd
floor?
2. Does your joints ache every morning or after every workout e.g.
kneecaps, shoulder joints or even lower back problems etc......?
3. Is your bodyfat above 15%
4. Do you exercise LESS than 3 times per week?
5. Did you fall sick e.g. colds and flu more than twice in 6
months?
6. Do you have a problem keeping your posture in an upright
position when walking, standing and sitting or do you slouch with your
shoulders and stick your head out?
7. Is it difficult for you while standing, put you feet together,
bend over and touch your toes without bending your knees at all?
8. Do you indulge in beer, fried food, fast food or chocolates and
cakes more than twice per week?
If you answer "YES" to more than any 5 questions, you are in a serious
health hazard. My suggestion for you is before taking up any strenuous
exercise, to consult a physician. Plan seriously & carefully on your eating
habits and Lifestyle.
If you answer "YES" to 3 questions and up, you should think twice about
your eating habits and re-priorities your daily activities!
If you answer "YES" to one or more, trust me, you can still improve on
your overall health/ fitness. Work on it!
