7. The Prescription

A neighbor comes to see me as I'm recovering from a great fall. "Don't try to know what God knows, ha-ha-ha" says the neighbor."That's nothing but an ego trip man. Stay down here with the rest of us and be satisfied with your lot in life. Find happiness in whatever situation you happen to be in."

I think, "That's good advice," but I soon forget it. I build another pyramid. And even though it fills me with anxiety, once again, I begin to climb. I climb and I climb until I reach the very pinnacle, or is it the pineal? I don't know; I stand in one place and stretch out my arms . . .

Then and there -- I am happy.
