Front: Dottie Graham, Ann RustThe Organizing team members have been meeting regularly since the January 2003 Healing Touch International Conference with the intention of fostering community building among healers in the Mid-Atlantic states. The chapter currently consists of HTI members from Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.

  • Maureen McCracken, APRN, BC, CHTP/I
    Maureen is a certified heaing touch instructor since 1995, single Mom of a very interesting son, singer, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Adult Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, currently employed as a supervisor of medication services for the Falls Church Community Services Board in Northern Virginia. She maintains a small private practice in integrative psychotherapy in Herndon, Virginia and teaches all levels of Healing Touch.
  • Ann Rust, CHTP/I
    Ann is in private practice as a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor, for Holistic Healing Opportunities, Inc. She has an extensive background in education, with teaching specialties in home economics, science, and mathematics. In her healing practice she uses Healing Touch, Lightbody Techniques, Energetic Healing, and other Advanced Energy Healing with private clients. She facilitates bi-weekly practice sessions and a monthly Healing Touch Ministry at a local church. Richmond, VA at annrust@att.net.
  • Dr. Dottie Graham, DR, RN, C.Ht,CHTP/I
    A licensed health care professional for over 40 years, Dottie is the founder and executive director of the Graham Institute of Self Awareness (GISA) and the Virginia Center for Healing Touch (VCHT). She is a Doctor of RoHun, a Registered Nurse, a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor, a Certified Hypnotherapist, Advanced Regression Therapist, and pastor of the GISA Healing Sanctuaries of Hampton Roads and Richmond.   • Mari Kelley, RN, CNN, CHTP, CHTI
    Mari has 29 years experience in traditional nursing and is currently the Nurse Manager, Renal Dialysis/TeleCare at the Dept of Veterans Affairs Hampton, VA. She has been an Energy Based Practitioner since 1995. She offers Healing Touch, Reiki, Continuing Education, Presentations and hospital consultations. She has presented the Healing Touch Program at a number of National Conferences and has published. She continues to combine conventional and complementary therapies. Virginia Beach at 757-471-0004
  • Elaine Hruska, BA, MS, CMT,CHTP/I
    Elaine is an instructor with the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy. Her educational background is in secondary education and transpersonal studies. She is a 1997 graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor. Elaine's first alternative healing book, When Illness Strikes: Let Edgar Cayce Help You Manifest Your Healing Response, has just been released by the ARE Press. Virginia Beach, VA.
  • Jean-Marie Givens-Myers, CHTP/I
    Jean-Marie is a an instructor of energy-based healing modalities. She is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner and Instructor, a Certified RoHun Therapist and an Ordained Minister. She has been a Minister and a hands on healer with the GISA Healing Sanctuaries of Hampton Roads since 1998.   • Linda-Dell Archuleta, BSN,CCRN,CHTP,HTI
    Linda has over 38 years of nursing that includes special expertise in Critical Care/Cath Lab with an emphasis on holistic nursing/complementary therapies. She currently is on staff at the VAMC, Salem Virginia and has a small private practice of Healing Touch and Hypnotherapy.   • Kelly Good RN,BSN, CHTP/I
  • Kelly has over 30 years of experience in the areas of clinical nursing, counseling, and ministry. Her holistic nursing practice includes Healing Touch, Reiki, interactive imagery, aromatherapy, spiritual direction and dreamwork, in conjunction with allopathic care. She is a graduate of the Va Institute of Spiritual Direction. Kelly also facilitates the Healing Touch monthly practice group the first Wednesday of each month at Old Donation Episcopal Church on Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach, Va. 757-497-4343, good497@cox.net.

  • Michaela Donohue, CHTP/I
    Michaela Donohue, RN, CNM, MS, CHTP/I has been using energy work since the mid 80s in her nurse-midwifery work as well as her private practice. She is certified as both an instructor and practitioner in Healing Touch, has been on the HTI Panel of Reviewers and is presently taking a sabbitical/retreat of one year from teaching, facilitating workshops and retreats, and mentoring HT students. Her private healing practice is in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
  • Christine (Tina) Devoe RN, CMT, CHTP/I
    Christine Devoe integrates her training in touch therapies with a holistic nursing philosophy. She draws from her 20 years of maternal child health experience as a labor and delivery nurse and patient educator for high-risk pregnancies. As a member of the Department of Integrative Medicine at Calvert Memorial Hospital, she pioneered the practice of Healing Touch and Massage.
