There are so many troubles in the world today that it is hard to decide which ones are the most important. I think you will agree that our children are the solution. But they can't do anything without the proper beginnings. It is so important for children to feel secure and loved. Right now there are many children who are neither. It is no wonder that there is so much trouble. Children who don't know what it is to be valued don't learn how to value others. Children who aren't loved don't know learn how to love. Children who are not respected do not learn to respect. When a child lives with fear, it is no wonder that he lashes out. When you are a child, there are so many things to fear..... Abandonment, .....violence, .....abduction, .....




 KIDS WHO ARE DIFFERENT

Here's to the kids who are different,
The kids who don't always get A's,
The kids who have ears twice the size of their peers,
And noses that go on for days...
Here's to the kids who are different,
The kids who don't fit, with the guts and the grit,
Who dance to a different drum...
Here's to the kids who are different,
The kids with the mischievous streak,
For when they have grown, as history's shown,
It's their difference that makes them unique.
