Ok! Ok! So I'm an engineer at a local power plant (Wanna buy it??), and a certified computer abuser, nerd, geek, etc. Please don't hold it against me!! I'm still a nice guy!
Electric industry restructuring has been the big item for this year. PG&E is reorganizing, downsizing, and re-engineering to become more competitive, and has announced that, to comply with recent California legislation, it will sell several power plants, including Morro Bay, by the end of 1997. Hopefully (fingers crossed), I'll still have a job there next year!

Yes, I have a herd of kitties at the Ranch!! Some folks think that I have too many cats, but all the kitties were formerly homeless, adopted from rescue organizations or snatched from the street, and I know they have a better life at the Ranch than on their own outside, or in a small cage, or worse ..... and I probably won't bring home too many more.... well, maybe....
We added two new kitties to the Ranch this year. Troll, a large, long hair, grey furry guy, and Selene, a fuzzy, small, longhair, black kitty who joined us around Halloween. Both kitties were adopted from Wood's Humane Society in San Luis Obispo. So far, the kitty herd includes Fluff, Tiger Lily, Patches, Mike, Henry, Ruby, Raggle, Troll and Selene.
