In Memory Of...

On this day I lost a Friend,
Beverly Crowley
January 12, 1948 - April 6, 1998

Dorothy Bell
1903 - February 7, 1998
Dorothy Bell was my Great Aunt. Her husband, George Bell, was my Mom's Mother's Brother! Although we knew her time was near, it was still very difficult for us to lose her at this time. Her passing, was two days after the funeral of my Uncle Grant. She was burried two weeks from the day that my Mother passed away. Dorothy Bell and her husband George served as missionaries for many years in China.

Grant Webber
1941 - February 1, 1998
Grant is my Uncle, the younger Brother of my Mother, Margaret Mclean. Uncle Grant came out with his Sister and her husband, my Aunt Norma & Uncle Art when my Mom passed away. He returned to his home in Ontario the day after the funeral, Saturday January 31st. On Sunday February 1st, Grant went to Church and then went out for lunch with a friend. After lunch he stopped at a drug store to pick up some medicine. It was while there, that he had a heart attack. He was taken to the Hospital where he was conscious enough to give his friend instructions about calling his children. He then suffered a major heart attack and was gone. His passing was tough on his children and was also very hard for the rest of the Webber family. Although we know that Grant is in Heaven, he will be greatly missed.

My Mother, My Friend,
Margaret McLean
December 12, 1923 - January 27, 1998
If tears could build a stairway,
and memories were a lane.
I could walk right up to Heaven,
to bring you home again.
No farewell words were spoken,
no time to say goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it,
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness,
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you
no one will ever know.
