Childears genealogy: Maurice Childears, 6108 n. 18th st. Arlington, Va 22205, Lyon County Museum(page 5, 6, 21) Name was spelled either as Childers orChildears. Apparently some family members took one spelling and othes took the second version. This family has both names shown. All information on Childers- Childears family came from Maurice Childears as he had filed the information at the lyon county Historical Museum in Emporia, KS Material updated in Nov 1990 based on letter from Maurice Childears.
