Our Homeschool
Progress Report

Kappa-Epsilon Academy
April2000

Our progress through the month of April 2000:

Math: Kevin is still working on Advanced Math and Keys to Geometry. He finished book 7 in Keys to Geometry and scored a 100% on it. He also had a test in Advanced Math, which he scored a 94% on.
Erin is still working with Keys to Algebra and Keys to Geometry. She finished Keys to Geometry Book 4 and got a 97% on the final test.

Vocabulary, Language Arts: In Vocabulary we are finished with our weekly lists. We have been writing sentences for each of the 67 lists. We expect them to be done in May.

In Language Arts we are focusing mainly on Creative Writing this year. I've asked Kevin and Erin to choose at least one favorite from their first semester work, and "polish" it up into a finished work for this semester. Kevin has chosen a story he is writing for an online forum called "The Deliverer" and Erin is writing a real-life sort of story called "Joyburgh High".
We have also began to use Daily Grammar work sheets for fun and to review some of what we learned.
We are also finished our Greek and Latin root words. We had a test on all 100 words we learned and Kevin and Erin both got 100%! Great job you two.
