Thank you for visiting our cattery, located in beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas. We have a lovely litter born February 21st, 1999, but there is a waiting list for these kittens. However, if you think you might be interested in one of these babies, we'll be happy to contact you if somebody drops off the waiting list. The sire of this litter is SGC Ryanplace Boy Toy of KenKoon, and the dam is Coonmora Tempest of Cheeptrills. Both Boy Toy and Tempest's pictures and pedigrees may be seen from our "Meet the Cats" page. If you don't know how to copy code, here's how: bring up the page you want to copy, click on "File" on your browser, then on "Save As." Give it a name and save it on your hard drive. Then you can edit it however you like (I recommend Netscape Navigator Gold's "wysiwyg" editor, unless you are familiar with html programming) and upload it to your ISP. (Please note that this pedigree form is designed to be used on websites, not as hard-copy, although it can be printed in landscape mode.)

• Maine Coon Cats: Everything About Purchase, Care, Nutrition, Reproduction, Diseases, and Behavior (A Complete Pet Owner's Manual), Carol Himsel Daly, 1995. This is an excellent modern guide for the pet owner, with many color photos of beautiful cats.
• That Yankee Cat: The Maine Coon, Marilis Hornidge, 1992 (revised edition). This book's particular strength is its evocation of the breed's roots in Maine culture, with many fine tales about those wonderful "shags". Many pictures of Maine Coon cats, both historical and modern. The best book for stories and history of the Maine Coon cat.
• This Is the Maine Coon Cat, Sharon P. Bass. Reprinted in 1990, this book has actually not been updated (to our knowledge) since its original edition in 1983. A fine book for its time, with many color illustrations of cats that grace our pedigrees now. Sections on showing practices and the like are a little out of date.
• Guide to Owning a Maine Coon Cat, Abigail Greene, 1997.
• Hurray For Christopher: The Story of a Maine Coon Cat, Virginia Langley. This is an absolutely adorable book, and should be read to every Maine Coon lover's kids! Unfortunately out of print, but worth asking Amazon to search for a used edition.
• Maine Coon Cats, Stuart A. Kallen, 1996. This is listed as a child's book, reading level 4-8 years.
• The 1999 Maine Coon Cat calendar. Beautiful photographs of gorgeous Maine Coon Cats - what better way to start off a new month?
