Hi! Welcome to Cindy's Place. Come on in and make yourself at home. Thanks for visiting!!
I'm 36 years old, and I've been married to Kelley for almost 12 years. We live in Southern Indiana with our three kids... Ryan , Brandon, and Jayme. They each have their own page now, so check them out when you have time.
I *was* a part-time college student, but that's been put on hold for the time being. My major is/was Computer Programming and I was attending the University of Southern Indiana. I've been working as a substitute teacher for the past couple of months for all grades Kindergarten through high school, and loving every minute of it (well, except for 1st grade). That was a challenge in itself. I was a little nervous about it at first, but I got over that pretty quick. It really is a lot of fun...especially teaching your own kids class. I remember the subs when I was in school and how much the kids gave them a hard time. I guess that's mostly what I was worried about, but my sons gave me a few tips and tricks on what to do and what not to do, and it seems to be working. When I go into a classroom that I've taught before, and they say "Oh cool, Mrs. Moschner is back", you know you must be doing something right. :-)
In my spare time I like to swim, fish, camp, deer hunt with hubby, paint sweatshirts, make crafts, and of course play on the computer. And not necessarily in that order.
I started my home page back in October of 1996. When I first started, I didn't even know what HTML was. I learned it all on my own with a little help from the net and from a book that I bought. Once I figured it out, you couldn't stop me. I guess you could say that I got just a little addicted to it. *grin* I wanted to help others with their web pages, so I decided... what better way to do that than to become a Heartland Community Leader. I applied in February 1997, and got accepted into the program. In July, I got elected to be a Co-Liaison for the Heartland Hills suburb, and in June 1998 I became the Heartland Liaison. Since I became a CL, I have met so many wonderful people that I probably wouldn't have met otherwise. It's been a great opportunity for me, and I keep learning new things all the time...and most of all, I'm having a great time doing it. :-)
