18. Richard11 KNYVETT (John10, John9, Thomas8, John7, Manser6, Thomas5, Drugo4, Edmund3, Alfred2 LE KNEVET, Ofthomarus1) was born in Southwick, Northamptonshire, ENG CA 1291. Richard died CA 1352 in Southwick, Northamptonshire, ENG.

He married Joan WOURCH ABT 1318. Joan was born 1295. Joan was the daughter of Richard WOURCH. Richard was evidently a man of considerable importance, for his name occurs frequently in the Close Rolls and the Patent Rolls during the reigns of Edward II and Edward III. An entry in the 1311 Close Rolls show that Joan brought a considerable amount of property into the family, for, in addition to her father's estate, she inherited land in Haynton, Lincolnshire, from her uncle, Serval.

In 1324 Edward II granted the custody of the forest of Clyve to Richard Knevett for life; and an entry in 1327 shows that the new King confirmed the title. Richard is last heard of as a commissioner of the peace in 1350, and his place in life is taken by his more illustrious son John.

Richard KNYVETT and Joan WOURCH had the following children:
