Daddy When we came home from school one day, we were told that Mom had gone to the hospital to have the baby. Six weeks early! That was in the middle of Jan. We lived in a two bedroom house and Ididn't have a bedroom. Islept on a fold up cot in the living room. The night my little sister was born. I was almost asleep when Dad came in the door. He had just left Mom at the hospital and came home to us. He walked by my cot and I was pretending to be asleep when he slipped his cold hands down the front of my p.j.'s. Whispering to me when will I fill out more. I was frozen in shock, and so mad at the same time I didn't move. I made sure that I never went to sleep on my back again started to sleeping on my tummy. He tried it again the next night but I was ready for him. Who was I to tell? My Mom in the hospital and I was the oldest (all of 12 on my birthday in Oct.) It was just another little incident in my young life. Chapter #2 One night I was cooking supper (I was 14 then) liver and onions. I can never cook liver with out remembering what took place that night. The memory comes back time and time again, bad part I like liver and onions smothered in gravy and cook it as much as my family will let me serve it to them. Anyway Dad comes in drunk and raising hell at all us kids for one thing or another.I was late getting supper on and was trying to fight with half frozen liver. He starts in on me about my Mom, it back fired on him by always wanting her to go with him to the bars. Anyway he had me traped up against the small kitchen cabinets. Telling me that I was not his child and that he wanted me to to sleep with him. I was in tears and trying to cope with yet another shock. The man that I called Daddy was now wanting to be my lover, That he wasn't my Daddy, all the time I was fighting off his advances! My brothers, my heros came in and helped me out yet again. Dad knocked them around some and got tired of fighting with them and went to bed to sleep it off. We still didn't tell. There was no one to tell. We were only kids, we loved our parents, even when it got bad.
