Monster Truck season prematurely ends
Truck season abruptly ended for Alex White when the family moved to the suburbs earlier this fall. While disappointed, White did take his truck with him. "He sure did have a lot of fun with his truck this summer," said Tamara Abbey, his mother. "He was out there practicing or racing up and down the driveway nearly every day." White also enjoyed letting his friends take a turn on the rally circuit. Although, he was quick to reclaim his truck. "It's really been fun watching him learn how to make it go both forward and backward," Abbey added. "When he first started this year, he could barely get it up to speed." |
White gave his truck one last washing before sending it off to his new home. He and his father, Rick, managed to time the job perfectly too. "He sure has that hose figured out," White said. "I think he got every inch of it - and him - soaked!" White didn't take long to get the truck unpacked before taking a spin around the new block. "I know he'll miss his old route, but watch out for next year - he has a whole parking lot to terrorize," his mother added. |
