Good, bad but rarely indifferent, Bill and Mary almost always left a distincitive impression on people. These are some of the memories that have been submitted:

I do remember your mother judging...and I also remember when she was in the classes with me several years back....she was showing a blue bitch at the time..and remember her being in such pain with a toothache...if I remember correctly she stuffed potato salad in her mouth before she went in the ring...we all laughed so hard...even tho we knew she was in such pain. Never did figure out if the potato salad worked ... but while in the ring..she did forget about the pain.
It was at the Panhandle Collie Club of W. Virginia when they still held it at a place called "The Grotto" Just don't expect me to remember the year...:-).

My first Specialty Show after purchasing Blooper, was the Collie Club of Western NY. Mary was the Judge that day. She gave me quite a thrill by putting Blooper Best of Breed. It was the start of Bloopers show career with me. He went on to a Best In Show Aug 1977 and the Sire of two National Winners in 80/81. I also purchased Am/Can Ch Shamont Dark Incantation from Mary. Thanks Mary for a wonder start with Blooper and Canter. Mary gave Canter a BOV on the Tar Heel Circuit. I will always remember Mary and her lovely Collies and the opportunity to purchase a spectacular Collie in Canter. Have fun with your Felines. Abby Cassidy
