I think this is a photo of
Marintha Holland Burris.

It was in Ollie Fritts's things and was labelled,
Marintha Hollins, Sam's mother.
She was actually Sam's step-mother.
I do not know who the children are.

Thanks to Patti and Greg Fritts, who have researched the history of the Fritts line in America descended from Wooldrich Fritz and compiled this information and stories into a two-volume book which is availiable for us all. The information on this page prior to 1900 is mostly from their book. Most of the remainder is from the Carl Fritts, Sr. Family Bible, (kept by Ophia Fritts) and our collective memories.

Many thanks also to Cierra Savannah Brinkman who supplied lots of information on the earlier Frittses. If anyone else has additional information, questions, or collaboration of details, please send me an email.
