You must be mad...I'll be dead!

She hurried off, shouting out to the preacher in front of the watching crowd, "You must be MAD - I'll be dead!"

Moments earlier the preacher had asked, "What will you be doing in a hundred years time?"

"Dead and gone!" - that's what most people think.

"When you're dead, you're dead!"

But how does anyone know? Has anyone died and then come back to tell us what happens after we die? Is there life after death?

The preacher's question is not so mad really. Yes, you will have died (probably!) but will you be dead?

Who can give us reliable information? Surely it's just speculation, isn't it? God only knows about things such as this. God? Yes he would know, because he knows everything, doesn't he?

But he doesn't say much, does he? Or does he? What's Easter about if it isn't about someone dying and then coming back to life again?

Didn't the authorities have Jesus killed because he claimed to be God in human form?

He said he came down from heaven. Jesus spoke a lot about heaven, hell and what happens after we die.

He did some amazing things to demonstrate that he was who he claimed to be. All those incredible miracles.

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies."

The Bible, John chapter 11 verse 25.

Look into the life of Jesus. Read the accounts in the Bible - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

You'll find he's calling you to follow him. You'd be mad not to!
