Worf Avery BrooksNana VisitorRene AuberjonoisColm Meaney Alexander SiddigNicole DeBoerArmin Shimerman Cirroc LoftonMicheal Dorn Favorite Returning Characters Gul Dukat - Former Cardassian commander of Terok Nor, DS9's former namesake, played by Mark Alaimo. He was the leader in charge of Cardassian occupation of Bajor. He has, at times, helped and fought with Capt. Sisko and his crew. He helped the Dominion forces overthow the Cardassian homeworld and made himself Ruler. Now on the lam, he has a vendetta against Sisko. Kai Winn - Spiritual leader of the Bajoran people, played by Louise Fletcher. Ambitious and ruthless, she and Kira are always at odds, trying to make Bajor independant. Gowron - Chancelor of the Klingon Empire, played by Robert O'Reilly. Worf and Gowron have been friends and enemies and everything in between. Worf helped Gowron keep control of the Empire against the Duras sisters, regaining his family's honor. Gowron took it away again when Worf refused to help him fight a pre-emptive strike against the Cardassians. Most Noteworthy Villians The Dominion - Across the galaxy, in the Gamma Quandrant, a race of changelings called Founders have built an empire. Using a race of Vortas and a genitically bred race of warriors called the Jem-Hadar, they have conquered many worlds and, thanks to the stable wormhole near Bajor and DS9, they are trying to conquer the Alpha Quandrant, with Earth as its primary target. The Federation, Klingons, and Romulans have joined forces against them while the Cardassians have aligned themselves with the Dominion. Using small, quick, and cloaked ships, the Jem-Hadar attacks are ruthless and vicious. DS9 has been taken by the Dominion forces once and re-taken. Cardassian ruler Gul Dukat and the Vorta overseer, Weyoun, have managed the war for the Dominion while Capt. Sisko is struggling to keep the Federation afloat. Parallel Universe - Originally discovered by Kirk and company 85 years ago, this alternate, parallel universe hosts many threats to the Federation. Sisko and his crew have taken a few trips there and found life very much the same - and different. The Intendant, in the form of Kira, controls Terok Nor with the Cardassian, Garek. Sisko, in this universe, is a pirate while Bashir and Jadzia are part of his gang. O'Brien is a fix-it man on the station, but he later joins the rebels. Eventually, Sisko is killed and our Sisko replaces him for a time, at the 'request' of parallel O'Brien. The Intendant Kira loses power and later goes to our galaxy in search of one of the Bajoran orbs. Our Kira stops her before she gets it but she remains a force to be reconded with. Favorite Episode "Crossover" This episode re-introduces the parallel universe, first seen in St:TOS episode "Mirror, Mirror". It's fascinating to see the dissimiliar parellels - how each character acts out a very different life in this universe. It invites more visits later for both sides. Runners up:"The Search" and "Favor the Bold". Back Row: Worf, Jadzia Dax, Jake Sisko Front Row: Quark, Odo, Capt. Sisko, Kira, O'Brien Space Station Deep Space 9 in front of the Bajoran wormhole. The Enterprise-E is docked on top while Voyager is docked on the far side. A Runabout is leaving orbit.
