Favorite Returning Characters

Q - God-like entity played by John DeLancie.
From the first episode to the last, and several in-between,
he plagued the crew of the Enterprise. He put them on
trial for the crimes of humanity, introduced them to the
mighty Borg, turned the crew into Robin Hood and his merry
men, and lots more!

Dr. Noonian Soong - Data's Creator played by Brent Spiner.
He was an old man who, together with his wife, created
Data and his brother, Lore.

Lore - Data's brother played by Brent Spiner.
An android like Data, he was the 'evil twin'. He
impersonated Data, tricked him out of his valued emotion
chip, and wrecked havoc wherever he went. He was ultimately
stopped and dismantled by Data.

Most Noteworthy Villians

The Borg - cyber-organic beings, they want to assimilate
all lifeforms and technology for their own. They are a
collective entity, thinking as one, but acting through
the use of cyber-organic drones. These drones are a
collection of beings captured and implanted with Borg
technology. They are under the control of the collective
conscience.

The Borg were introduced in "Q Who" by Q. They almost
destroyed the Enterprise then but was saved by Q. A year
later, they reappeared, destroying the Starfleet
armada at Wolf 359. They captured Picard, turning him
into Locutus, the Borg spokesperson. They made it to Earth,
only to be stopped by the Enterprise. We will be
introduced to Hugh, the Borg who, cutoff from the
collective, learns to become and individual ("I, Borg").
They will appear various times again, most noteably
in the movie Star Trek: First Contact and in the
Star Trek: Voyager series.

Favorite Episode

"The Best of Both Worlds"
- What better show is there than a double twist of Borg?
The fate of Picard and his crew, the destruction of the
armada, and the impact of this invasion is clearly etched
in our minds. It carries with Picard all the way through
Star Trek: First Contact several years later.

Runners up: "The Inner Light" and "Sins of the Father".
