26. William⁴ Sprague (John³, William², Edward¹) was born in Hingham, MA 6/13/1679.

He married Hannah Mitchell 1712. She was the daughter of John Mitchell and Hannah Spofford.

William Sprague and Hannah Mitchell had the following children:

52 i. Hannah⁵ Sprague was born 12/21/1712. She married Daniel Colwell. Daniel was born 12/7/1741. He was the son of John Colwell Sr. and Margaret Sprague. He married Mrs. Susanna Warner. He married Mercy Hopkins. Daniel died 7/18/1835 in Richfield, NY, at 93 years of age.

53 ii. John Sprague was born in Mendon, MA 3/28/1714. He married Hannah Binney. She was the daughter of John Binney and Hannah Jones.

54 iii. Margaret Sprague was born in Hingham, MA 5/14/1716. She married John Colwell Sr. John was born in Bristol, RI 7/2/1708. He was the son of Robert Colwell Jr. and Amey Downing. John died 12/21/1792 in Foster, RI, at 84 years of age. (See John Colwell Sr. for the continuation of this line.)

55 iv. Persis Sprague was born in Mendon, MA 7/24/1718.

56 v. William Sprague was born in Mendon, MA 8/5/1719. He married Margaret Brainard.
