4. Peter Janszen⁴ Harring (Jan Pieterson³, Pieter² Haring, Jan¹) was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 8/13/1664. Peter died after 1726.

He married Margaret (Greetje) Jans Bogart in Harlem, NY, 12/4/1687. She was the daughter of Jan Louwe Bogart and Cornelia Everts.

Peter Janszen Harring and Margaret (Greetje) Jans Bogart had the following children:

11 i. Margrietie⁵ Harring was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 9/8/1688. She married Klaas (Nicholas) Van Houten in Tappan, Orange Co., NY, 10/13/1708. He was the son of Theunis Roelofse Van Houten and Tryntje Klaesen Kuyper. (See Klaas (Nicholas) Van Houten for the continuation of this line.)

12 ii. Cornelia Harring was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 2/24/1690. She married Richard Truman.

13 iii. Brechie Harring was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 6/19/1692. She married Garret Lambertse Smith 10/11/1710. Garret was born in NYC, NY 11/15/1685. He was the son of Lambert Adriaensz Smith and Margrietje Gerrits Blauvelt.

14 iv. Pietiertie Harring was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 1/31/1696. Pietiertie died 1774. She married Jacob Abramse Blauvelt 10/12/1715.

15 v. Janneke (Jane) Harring was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 1/24/1698. She married Karel Debaan in Tappan, Orange Co., NY, 2/14/1714. Karel was born 1672. (See Karel Debaan for the continuation of this line.)

16 vi. Jan Pieterson Harring was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 4/15/1700. He married Elizabeth Blauvelt 10/5/1723.

17 vii. Catharine Harring was born in Harlem, NY or Tappan, NY 4/5/1702. She married Adolph Meyer.

+ 20 x. Teunis Harring was born 7/12/1708.
