170. Ichabod⁵ Bearse (Thomas⁴, Shubael³, James², Augustine¹, Gauche^A) was born in Halifax, MA 10/23/1744. Ichabod died 2/24/1815 at 70 years of age.

He married twice. He married Eunice Wetherill 1/29/1767. He married Eastese or Esther Holmes in Plymouth, MA or Plympton, MA, 11/10/1768. Eastese was born 1747. She was the daughter of Ebenezer Holmes and Patience Finney. Eastese died 4/29/1826.

Ichabod Bearse and Eunice Wetherill had the following child:

277 i. Eunice⁶ Bearse was born in Pembroke, MA 7/6/1767. She married Tilden Holmes 12/4/1791.

Ichabod Bearse and Eastese or Esther Holmes had the following children:

278 ii. Patience Finney Bearse was born in Pembroke, MA 8/8/1769. Patience died 9/26/1834 at 65 years of age. She married James Shaw.

+ 279 iii. Icabod Bearse was born 7/19/1771.

+ 280 iv. Simeon Bearse was born 4/2/1774.

281 v. Ebenezer Bearse was born in Pembroke, MA 3/24/1776. Ebenezer died DY.

282 vi. Esther Bearse was born in Pembroke, MA 3/24/1776. Esther died 4/12/1865 at 89 years of age. She married Hosea or Horice Bearse in Pembroke, MA, 2/6/1812. Hosea was born in Kingston, MA 4/30/1773. He was the son of John Bearse and Abigail Holmes. Hosea died 1/15/1846 in Kingston, MA, at 72 years of age. 283 vii. Deborah Bearse was born 1778. She married Ebenezer Chandler Waterman 4/7/1802/3.

284 viii. Thomas Bearse was born in Pembroke, MA 7/27/1778. Thomas died 9/6/1856 at 78 years of age. He married Lydia Stevens.

285 ix. Holmes Bearse was born in Pembroke, MA 1788. Holmes died 9/27/1865. He married Sally Holmes 1821.
