Bear Cubs is the second step in Scouting. Boys who are in the 3rd grade may join. To earn the Bear Badge, the scout must complete 12 achievements he chooses from a list of 24. Further achievements earn credit towards arrow points. These achievements are more engaging than those for Wolves, in keeping with the boys' developing maturity. As always, parental support and involvement are key to getting the most out of the scouting experience.
