Wolf Cubs of Pack 994 |
|
Wolf Cubs is the first step in Scouting. Boys who are in the 2nd grade may join. Each boy begins the year as a Bobcat. (In fact, if an older boy joins scouting, he must first complete the requirements for the Bobcat Badge before he can pursue the higher ranks.) He follows the 8 tracks of the Bobcat, learning the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout Motto. After he earns his Bobcat Badge, he is on his way to earn the Wolf Badge. To earn this badge, the young scout must follow 49 tracks through 12 activities. Wolves are more independent than Tigers, but parental support is still key to a successful and enjoyable year.
