Sandra Jane Langley Born March 30, 1937 in Flint, Michigan Married Jerome Gott on November 16, 1957 |
Sandy was raised in Detroit but spent much of her childhood in Essex,
Missouri. She went to the University of Detroit, where she met and married Jerry during her
junior year. In 1958 they moved west, first to Washington and then to California, settling
in San Jose in 1962. In the early 1980s Sandy completed her
degree and graduated from nursing school. Today she works as a nurse in the San Jose area. |

Berniece Catherine Lohmeier Born February 10, 1907 in Kaskaskia, Illinois Married Harry Langley on October 5, 1932 |
Berniece was born in Illinois but spent most of her life
in Missouri and Michigan. She met and married Harry in Missouri, and they had one child.
Later in life she moved to San Jose to be near her daughter and grandchildren, and it was
there that she passed away in 1994. |

Edward Otto Lohmeier Born September 12, 1882 in Sebula, Iowa Married Catherine Vessell on November 7, 1904 |
| Edward and Catherine raised eleven children and lived to see their sixty-first wedding anniversary. He died in Detroit in 1972. |
John Bernard Lohmeier Born about 1845 probably in Holstein, Germany Married Theresa Krull before 1870 |
| John and Theresa came to the United States from Holstein in about 1870. They settled in Sebula, Iowa, and had nine children, three of whom died very young during an epidemic. They eventually moved to Chester, Illinois, where John died in 1910. |
