Casey has spent most of his life in the San Diego area. He graduated
from the University of San Diego in 1986, and met Julie during a two-year stint in Los Angeles.
They moved to San Diego shortly after their marriage. He has worked in Information Systems since
1990, and currently is with Diversa Corporation.![]() |

Jonathan moved with his parents and sister to Central Valley, California,
when he was a young boy. After graduating from Cal Tech in 1958 he joined the Navy's Civil Engineer Corps.
While a naval officer he met and married Alison, and they raised two sons. His duty stations included
such places as Key West, Naples, Vietnam, Guam, and Monterey. He retired as a commander in
1977, and works now in construction management in San Diego.![]() |

Jonathan was raised in Alameda and graduated from Maine's Bowdoin College in 1922. During the Great Depression, he and Beatrice moved with their two children to Central Valley, California, to work near the Shasta Dam construction project. He became a judge and served several terms as supervisor of Shasta County's fourth district. Beatrice passed away in 1966, and Jonathan remained in Central Valley until his death in 1988.![]() Helen and Jonathan - November 1935 |

Walter Greenough Tibbitts Born September 26, 1860 in Rockland, Maine Married Grace Cilley on September 12, 1893 |

| Walter was raised in the shipbuilding industry, and eventually became
a shipbuilder himself. Shortly after their marriage he and Grace relocated to Alameda,
California, and had five children, three of whom died very young. He became a partner in the
Barnes & Tibbitts Shipbuilding Company, and was tragically killed in an automobile accident
in 1931. It was Walter who changed the spelling of the family name from "Tibbetts" to "Tibbitts" for reasons unknown today. ![]() |

Alpheus was the youngest of the six children of Thomas and Fanny. He became a sailmaker, first in Maine and then in Brooklyn, New York. He and Elizabeth eventually returned to Maine to raise their two sons, and he died there in 1890.![]() |

Thomas Tibbetts Born September 26, 1783 in Woolwich, Maine Married Frances (Fanny) Yeaton (or Yaton) on July 8, 1802 |
| Thomas was a church deacon. Shortly after he and Fanny were married in Bristol, Maine (then Massachusetts), they moved to Windsor and raised six children. Thomas died there in 1844. |

Nathaniel Tibbetts Born 1740 in Dover, New Hampshire Married Lois Davis on September 22, 1762 |
| Lieutenant Nathaniel Tibbetts served in the Massachusetts militia during the Revolutionary War. He and Lois had ten children, the youngest of whom was Thomas. Lois died in 1802, and Nathaniel married Abigail (Young) (Gray) Gould. He died in Woolwich, Maine (then Massachusetts) in 1817. |

| John and Tamson had between eight and twelve children, of whom Nathaniel was the third. They were married for 46 years, and died within a few months of each other in 1782. |

| John and Sarah had three children, of whom John Jr. was the oldest, before Sarah died in 1722. He then married Tamson (Meserve) Ham and had another daughter. John died in Durham in 1750. |

| Jeremiah and Mary had seven children, of whom John was the third. |

| Jeremiah came to the New World with his parents and younger brother
at the age of four. He was a farmer and raised thirteen children with his wife Mary. He also served
as the first prison keeper in the colony of New Hampshire. He died in Dover in 1677. |

Henry Tibbetts Born 1596 in London, England Married Elizabeth Austin before 1631 |
| Henry and Elizabeth and their two young sons sailed from London,
England, on June 13, 1635, aboard the "James". They landed in Boston on September 16,
and found themselves eventually in Dover, New Hampshire. Henry was a shoemaker and also
took up farming. He and Elizabeth had two more children in America, where he died in 1676. |
