EXPERIMENTAL DOES

My Experimental kids go for the same low prices as the Americans. I have upgraded and proven the Experimentals and know what the bloodlines can do. They won't disappoint you in your own herd.

GCH *M Roadrunner Z Althea (71% AB 28% AA)

S: *B Goldenwood Effie's Zurich D: Roadrunner Chief's Zelda
SS: +*B Goldenwood Effie's Buck DS: *B Marsh Hawk TC Little Chief
SD: GCH 3*M Shallow Brook's Effie DD: Roadrunner Texswiss Lucerne

Althea was one of those 'passaround' does. She was in many Grade A Texas dairy herds before landing with us. One milking season with Althea and we knew we'd never part with her. She has only had 2 buck kids in her 9+ kidding seasons! Most of her does carry that incredible udder and milk ability. Althea was Top Ten Grade Oberhasli at age 7.

Bred to Catoico's Avalon for February 2000 kids. Second doe available $200. (Does are 85% Ab, and require one more generation before offspring can be AB.)

Penjac Althea Annie go Lightly (85% AB 14% AA)

S: Pan's Pride MGR Medicine Bow D: GCH *M Roadrunner Z Althea
SS: +B GCH Lyme Kiln Gustav Raedwulf DS: *B Goldenwood Effie's Zurich
SD: Lyme Kiln M LB Melora DD: Roadrunner Chief's Zelda

Penny does this to me a lot! Breeds these wonderful does to my bucks then threatens to sell the offspring. Annie is somewhat taller and more dairy than Althea, but retains that great mammary system. In our Texas show circuit, the Experimental classes are very competitive, and we're pleased that Annie places RGCH when shown. Annie is bred to Avalon. Doe kids are American. ($200 second doe).

Flylo Farms Amelia Airhead (85% AB 14% AA)

S: *B Flylo Farms Rand McNally D: GCH *M Roadrunner Z Althea
SS: +*B Monarch Hills R Omi Royal DS: *B Goldenwood Effie's Zurich
SD: GCH *M Pan's Pride Denali DD: Roadrunner Chief's Zelda

I Like my Althea daughters! Amelia will be a 2nd freshener, and I know I keep saying lovely capacious udders on this line, but it's true! Amelia lacks teat length but still very balanced. She's a deep dark bay with a great barrel capacity for a young doe. Her first freshening resulted in twin does. I retained Aberdeen (black). Amelia bred to Avalon for March kids. $200 doe kid only.

Flylo Farms Black Aberdeen (American Oberhasli)

S: Catoico's Otoe D: Flylo Farms Amelia Airhead
SS: Flylo Farms Crown Royal DS: Flylo Farms Rand McNally
SD: *M Lady Bug Acclaim Omaha DD: GCH *M Roadrunner Althea

This young doe should be on the American pages, but she's an 'upgrade' from the Althea lines, and so ended up here instead. Aberdeen's lineage has been discussed above, as she's the first daughter of Amelia and sired by Otoe. We'll be linebreeding on Crown Royal by using Avalon with Aberdeen for March 2000 babies.
