4. Joseph HOWELL (Joseph3, John2, John1).1 Born ca 1733 in Edgecombe County, NC.  died in Campbell County,GA, in 1844; he was 111.

Bef 1750 when Joseph was 17, he first married Esther SUGG2, daughter of Aquilla SUGG & Elizabeth MAUND.

They had the following children:

5 i. Thomas (1751-ca1830)
6 ii. Joseph
7 iii. Murphree(Murphrey)
iv. Elizabeth.
v. Keziah.
Keziah married Joseph DAVIS.

Ca 1768 when Joseph was 35, he second married Margaret Eleanor GARMON; she died in Dec 1802 in Edgecombe County, NC.
They had the following children:
