Psalms 37 vs 1 - 5
1 Do not fret because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. 4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your ways to the Lord, trust in Him, and He shall bring it to pass.
God's people must actively, consciously trust in the Lord, that God's word is true and that He always acts accordingly. Every situation we encounter is an opportunity to choose to trust in Him rather than our own inclination. Faith involves an element of risk, but always yields the richest dividends.
Malachi 3 vs 17
17 " They shall be Mine, " says the Lord of hosts, " On that day I will make them my jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him. "
The names of those who fear the Lord are written in a book of remembrance. In contrast with the end of the wicked, the righteous shall be mine ...... jewels on the day God acts.
Hebrews 4 vs 16
16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
To come boldly litterally means " without reservation, with frankness, with full and open speach. " We approach the throne of grace, not of judgment, obtaining mercy for the past and grace for the present and future.
James 1 vs 12
12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to all those who love him.
Those who remain steadfast, ernest and endure the refiners fire under testing will receive the crown of life. ( also see James 4 vs 8 )

SHORT STORY... SATAN'S GARAGE SALE
On the day The Lord returned the Devil had his sale. On the table were all of his sharpest and greatest weapons including:- War, Lust, Greed, Envy, Hate, Malice, and many more. At the back of the table was an old weapon, it was all battered and blunt. Yet its price was the highest over 10 times more than all the rest put together. His servant asked him " Why is this so expensive?? " he replyed " This is my best weapon, it is " discouragement " it gets into places that no other weapon could! "
