Visit this Gloucestershire site Graham Thomas has compiled a page on Rodborough Church, Monumental Inscriptions.

'Gloucester Village Populations' by Alicia C Percival, 1972, has for Rodborow, Communicants in 1551 - 240, in 1603 - 155, in 1676 - 442, and in 1650 there are 170 families. If each house has an average of 2 adults, the Hearth figures of 140 houses appears to give a lower tally

A=E 178 247/16, for 1662, B=E 178 247/14, for 1671, C=E 178 247/13, for 1672
205 entries transcribed, which appear to belong to 147 individuals, with about 140 houses.

E 178 247/14 - dated 1671 - Rodborow Tithing have 21 names, 30 or more lost, 104 hearths
E 178 247/14 - Rodborow Tithing have 20 surviving entries with Discharge Certificates out of 35 names for 37 hearths
E 178 247/14 - Rodborow Parish have 47 entries with 139, they counted 141 hearths for the 47 houses
E 178 247/13 - dated 1672 - Rodborow should be 246 hearths, have 181 with 70 names

The numbers are only a counting aid. Parish and Tithing appear to be two different areas in Rodborow, used in 1671, not in 1672.
