15. John F HERB Sr. was born in 1790 in Savannah , Chatham County, Ga.. He died on Mar 21 1841. Died at age 51 of consumption. He was buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery Lot 99. He is shown on the 1820 census in Rhode Island. After Sarah died he most likely moved back to Savannah.

He was married to Sarah Waterman POTTER (daughter of Holliman POTTER and Sarah ALLEN) on Apr 8 1811 in Independent Presbyterian Church, Savannah, Ga.. Married by Rev. Kollack. Sarah Waterman POTTER was born on Nov 5 1787 in Cranston, Rhode Island. She died on Dec 28 1828 in Rhode Island. She was buried in Potter family plot, Rhode Island. John F HERB Sr. and Sarah Waterman POTTER had the following children:

28 i. Holliman Potter HERB was born on Aug 2 1814. He died on Sep 8 1833 in Savannah , Chatham County, Ga.. He died of a fever. He was a blacksmith.

He was married to Mary Ann CHRISTOPHER on Dec 27 1831 in Lutheran Church of the Ascension. Mary Ann CHRISTOPHER died on May 11 1853. Died of pneumonia. She was born in South Carolina.
