25. JIMERSON (JIMPS) KENNEDY (photo) was born on Sep 7 1817. He died on Aug 27 1893 in Statesboro, Bulloch, Ga.. He was buried in The Excelsior Cemetery, Excelsior,Ga.. They settled on a farm near his father in the Holland Community, living there until after 1860. Nicey died there prior to 1863, no record of her death or burial. He then moved from Tattnall County to the Excelsior Coummunity of Bulloch County. He was a prominent farmer of his day, his cattle barn was the largest in the area, it was standing in 1929. Kennedy's Bridge, a short distance away on Canoochee River, was named after him. Nicey and Elizabeth were cousins.
He was married to NICEY COLLINS on Dec 10 1835. NICEY
COLLINS was born in 1816. She died prior to 1863 in Holland Community.
