Hello and welcome to my personal web page.  I am a homemaker (i.e. cook, gardener, housekeeper, peacemaker).     Martha Stewart should live here, once!    I'm also the wicked stepmother of four grown and gone children.   In case you haven't been told: grandchildren are wonderful.    You don't have to be the gorilla.   You can have loads of fun --- then they go home.      Life is sweet.

By trade, I'm a writer.  (No, you haven't heard of me before.   No need to be embarrassed.)  I am published in short fiction in both Fantasy and Mystery.   I'm an associate member of Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America and a founding member of Whrapps (a local group with a focus on critiquing).

Currently my writing partner, Bernice Picard, and I are working on a mystery novel, A January Smog. In it, we murder a writer (what would Freud say?).   The main characters are two female sleuths who have a private detective agency in a small South Jersey town. I refer to the book as "Cagney and Lacy in Cabot Cove."   We hope to finish the final draft this winter.

My advice to as-yet-unpublished writers?... (I know, you didn't ask).. DON'T QUIT !
