of Dr. Norris. A "Sarah (Sally) G. Lee" is the mother of Oswald F.
Acklen, and not the mother of his wife "Virginia Norris."

During the Civil war, U. S. Grant's troops marched through middle TN, confiscating
everything the family owned and arresting Oswald Franklin Acklen.
Virginia Norris (Acklen) walked three miles behind enemy lines to confront
Gen. Grant. He gave her husband free passage and returned to her
a milk cow. Oswald: He built the Episcopal Church in South Pittsburg TN
