The Live and Let Live

Right up until the mid twentieth century Guildford was more famous for the number of its public houses and coaching inn's than just about anything else. There has been a steady decline in both number and quality of pubs over the last twenty years, however things seem to be on the turn as there seems to be new public houses opening almost every year. By December 1998, Onslow street alone had three new bars, where before there were none.
