Sarah Dawson married Zachariah Summers in Bedford, Virginia on 2 March 1786. This couple eventually moved to Iredell Co., North Carolina. Sarah was alive at least until 1860. I have no further hints about Sarah.

Henry McGhee married Mattie E. Smith, in Meridian, Mississippi, in 1889. I have only a little bit of information on either person. Mattie was born around 1864 in Alabama and Henry was probably born around the same time but I don't know where. The couple had two children, probably born, between 1890 and 1895. A daughter Helen Powe and a son Langdom. I believe that Henry and the son Langdom, were killed in an accident in Birmingham, Alabama, as Mattie became guardian for Helen around 1905. Mattie continued in Meridian until the late 1910's and then I loose track of her.
There are only two names often linked to these people. One is Frank McGhee who held a variety of buisness and municipal positions in Meridian during the time and an L. C. Smith who may be a brother or father to Mattie.

Jesse Ritter was probably born in Maryland in 1803 and was the father of Caroline Ritter who married James Wright in Baltimore. I have found an obituary for Mary Alder or Alden who was listed of the wife of Jesse Ritter but link to my Jesse. Jesse eventually went to Tennessee and lived with his daughter Caroline and her husband James. I have been unable to find anything more about Jesse.
